UNION, N.J. (11/1/08) - The Kean University volleyball team closed out the 2008 season, falling to Delaware Valley College, 3-1, in non-conference action on Saturday afternoon. Kean battled the Aggies in the four-set match (19-25, 15-25, 25-20, 18-25), closing out the season at 7-17.

Rookie Jamie Sacco (Park Ridge, N.J.) recorded the double-double with 14 kills and 14 digs, while freshman Yesenia Velasquez (North Arlington, N.J.) had 20 assists and 10 digs. Rookie Stefanie Santiago (Bayonne, N.J.) also added 18 digs and eight kills and freshman Danica Meade (Nutley, N.J.) had seven service aces.

For Delaware Valley (14-12), sophomore Ashley Mikulsky (Reading, Pa.) had a team-high 11 kills and 17 digs, while freshman Amy Estep (Lewisburg, Ohio) had 13 digs and six service aces.
