PITMAN, N.J. (2/26/09) - Sophomore forward Jonathan Jones (Linden, N.J.) was named a New Jersey Athletic Conference honorable mention all-star, as voted on by the conference coaches and announced by the conference office on Thursday morning. Jones ranked third on the team in scoring, averaging 8.6 points and a team-best 6.6 rebounds this season, primarily off the bench. In 13 conference games, Jones averaged 7.4 rebounds a game to rank fourth in the NJAC, while his 24 blocks in NJAC action were tied for first in the conference.

The Cougars finished 12-14 overall, 5-8 in the NJAC and qualified for the conference playoffs for the second-straight season.
