Union, N.J. (9/26/09) - The Kean University women's tennis team picked up their second straight win as they defeated visiting Brooklyn College, 7-2, Saturday afternoon at the Alumni Stadium Tennis Courts. Freshman Lauren Petrucelli (Wood-Ridge, N.J.) (pictured right) led the way with two wins. She won 6-4, 6-0 in second singles and paired with junior Lisette LaForge (Roselle Park, N.J.) in first doubles as they won 8-2. Junior Alleyna Alleyne (Jackson, N.J.) was victorious at third singles by scores of 6-3, 6-3 and teamed with Miriam Penafiel (Newark, N.J.) to win at second doubles, 8-6.
