(9/19/09) - Sophomore Jamie Sacco (Park Ridge, N.J.) had a combined 16 kills as well as 10 digs to help lead the Kean University women's volleyball team as they defeated John Jay College, 3-1, and Purchase College, 3-0, Saturday afternoon in tri-match action. In the first match, the Cougars (5-2) defeated John Jay by scores of 25-13, 23-25, 25-14, 25-14 in the nightcap KU defeated Purchase by scores of 25-22, 25-21, 25-9. In the neutral matchup, Purchase defeated John Jay, 3-0 (25-21, 25-20, 25-16).

In this afternoon's action, junior Colleen Masterson (Rahway, N.J.) tallied 43 assists, 15 digs as well as five service aces. Sophomore Nicole Bolash (Clinton, N.J.) recorded a team-high 24 digs to go along with nine kills and four aces, while rookie Katie Schuh (Mount Holly, N.J.) added nine kills, five aces and 13 digs.
