Union, N.J. (1/20/11) - Senior forward Jonathan Jones is included in the current issue of Sports Illustrated after leading the country in several statistical categories throughout the 2010-11 season.Jones appears in the issue almost a year to the day after recent four year women's basketball starter Melissa Beyruti appeared in the magazine last season.

He has powered through the season with amazing statistical numbers helping Kean to 13 wins so far this season. He currently leads all Divisions (I, II and III) in rebounding, averaging 14.4 per game and is ranked first in Division III with 17 double-doubles this season. He is also ranked third in Division III with 24.4 points per game.

This season Jones became the 30th member of the 1,000 point club at Kean University when he tallied the milestone on December 21st in Kean's win over DeSales University.
