Triano Earns First-Team All-American Accolades

Chandler, Ariz. (11/22/11) - Senior Olivia Triano has been tabbed as a first-team member of the National Field Hockey Coaches Association All-American team as announced on Tuesday.

She was also named a first-team member of the Synapse Sports (formerly womensfieldhockey.com) All-American team, named this week.

Triano, who recently participated in the 2011 NFHCA Division III Senior Game which was held this past Saturday at Nichols College, becomes the first player in program history to earn first-team accolades.

Triano, the 2010 & 2011 New Jersey Athletic Conference Midfielder of the Year, played in 70 games recording 59 goals and 147 points, both second in school history.  In addition she tied the career assist mark with 29.  While collecting 14 game-winners in her career she was also named a third-team member of the 2010 NFHCA All-American team as well as a three-time first- team All-NJAC all-star.
