99 Things to Do Before You Graduate

Take in the full Kean University college experience

ver wondered what students just like you want to do before graduation? Are you looking for something to do on a dull night? There are so many activities to take advantage of at Kean University and around the area. Want to actually complete them all before graduating? Print or cut out the list and check them off as you go!

 

  1. Take a campus tour

  2. Visit all of the residence halls

  3. Apply for a scholarship

  4. Go to a Student Organization of Kean University meeting

  5. Join a fraternity/sorority/organization

  6. Go to an on campus sports game

  7. Go to a performance at Wilkins Theatre or in the Little Theatre

  8. Study abroad

  9. Make the dean's list

  10. Buy a yearbook

  11. Sing karaoke

  12. Work at an on campus job

  13. Write a paper a week in advance

  14. Start a CCT

  15. Attend various meetings until you find a group that fits you

  16. Lose the freshman 15

  17. Live on campus

  18. Visit New York City

  19. Go to a free local concert

  20. Go to the beach (any one of them)

  21. Find out where Health Services is before you need it

  22. Buy a class ring

  23. Visit Sage and Scout at the Turtle Back Zoo

  24. Join an intramural sports team

  25. Go to Homecoming

  26. Vote in the Student Organization elections each year

  27. Serve as an officer for a club

  28. Stay on campus for an entire weekend, taking part in campus activities

  29. Attend the Campus Awareness Festival

  30. Rollerblade, skateboard, or bike in and around campus

  31. Go to office hours and get to know your professors

  32. Visit the Holocaust Resource Center

  33. Clean out your Cougar e-mail account so it's not over quota

  34. Schedule a financial aid appointment online

  35. Advocate for Ramen Noodles as an acceptable meal

  36. Vote!

  37. Have a game or movie night

  38. Listen the Kean radio station, 90.3 WKNJ FM

  39. Checkout a book from the university library (textbooks don't count)

  40. Read a book for fun (preferably one that does not apply to your major)

  41. Write a good resume and have it looked at by the career development and advancement office

  42. Go to Fright Fest at Six Flags Great Adventure

  43. Have friends or siblings visit for the weekend

  44. Take a picture with the Kean Cougar

  45. Actually study for 25 to 35 hours at least one week each semester

  46. Donate blood at one of the on campus blood drives

  47. Take a foreign language class

  48. Visit Kean at OCC

  49. Learn to cook (in the microwave)

  50. Visit one of the campus galleries

  51. Take a tour of Liberty Hall

  52. Go on a sponsored retreat

  53. Wake up early enough to catch breakfast during Psyched About Wednesday events

  54. Attend the annual Breast Cancer Walk
