Over 300 student group leaders came together to learn how to grow their organizations and be better leaders in our community
The RSS Spring Fair took place on Saturday, April 29, allowing Kean students to have fun with many carnival activities.
On Saturday April 29, 2017, the 31st Annual African Heritage Graduation Ceremony (AFGH) was held in Wilkins Theatre. Guests were allowed in the theatre at 3:30 p.m. where the auditorium was adorned with African culture from the clothing to the music.
Early on Tuesday, May 2, 2017 a breakfast was held for the students who went above and beyond with their community service at Kean University. Students who completed 75 to over 100 hours were honored at the breakfast, receiving awards for their accomplishments.

On Monday, April 24, the area outside the clock tower and MSC was overrun by chefs from around the world. Organized by Student Government, Flavor Fest offered Kean students a chance to try food from all around the world. There were stations from India, Italy, Africa, Mexico, China, and a special stand for Ben and Jerry's. With a wristband you were allowed to enter a raffle, get a drink, and have access to the international buffet.
On Wednesday, April 26, 2017, members of Greek life gathered at Galloping Hill Caterers for the annual Greek Banquet to celebrate the year's accomplishments and honor standout organizations and students.
Students helped rebuild a home with Habitat for Humanity during the 2017 Cougars That Care Event.
On April 22, 2017, students visited Atria Senior Living center to visit the residents and participate in a multitude of fun activities with them.
On April 25 and 26th both faulty and students presented research projects from their fields of study.

On Monday, April 24, 2017, the annual Who's Who Awards took place in the new Kean North Avenue Academic Building (NAAB). The dinner celebrated 77 of Kean University's students who excelled academically and through involvement and community service.

The Asian Studies program of Kean University hosted its annual Holi festival on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at the basketball courts during college hour, 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Students organized the Qingming Festival on the grass by Vaugn Eames to fly kites and celebrate a traditional Chinese festival 15 days after the Spring Equinox.
On Thursday, April 13, the finale of the Business Plan Competition took place in the Miron Student Center Little Theatre. Students presented their business plans and $10,000 was awarded to the winners.
