How to find affordable yet fashionable winter clothes

It is now the fourth week of January and the year is still new. Some of your New Year's resolutions may have been to stop eating chocolate, lose weight, or get straight A's this semester. You could have also resolved to end the disastrous cycle of debt and attempt to save money which is always a popular one. Just because you still have some left over Christmas cash, doesn't mean you have to blow it all on unnecessary wants. This is not to say that wants are a bad thing, but it is always a good idea to try and focus on your necessities to avoid struggling in the future.
So what's the most important necessity of the winter season? If you guessed clothes, you are correct. But going shopping for all your winter needs does not have to clean out your wallet or destroy your credit cards. You can still rack up on all the things that will keep your head, hands, and feet toasty during the coldest days of the season without going broke. Whether you are in the market for headgear or trendy threads to start off the New Year, if you shop around, you can find just about anything and everything your heart desires at a reasonable price.
For the women, no matter what look you are into, whether it be classy and chic or urban, you can browse stores like Forever 21, Wet Seal, and Charlotte Russe at your local mall. For all the men, the stores you shop in differ. You can still try your luck at your local mall in stores like Urban Outfitters, American Eagle, Against All Odds, or Epic. There is also a store that is new to the mall scene called Uniglo. You can find some really good items at cut expenses. No matter if you are male or female, Express is also another great store to shop in for all of the latest fashions. You can more often than not find good deals, you just have to dedicate some time to it.
There are also a number of boutiques and small shops within the inner city area like downtown Newark or Elizabeth, just minutes away by bus, train, or car from school. If still you have yet to find what you are looking for or you are in need of more options to choose from, you can never go wrong shopping at the major department stores such as Macy's or Lord and Taylor. When shopping at a number of these stores, you can put an entire outfit together for between $40-80. And since it is just after the holidays, the chances of you finding a good sale are greater, so you may be able to save more.
When you are ready to complete your outfit with hat, gloves, scarves, etc., you can find good prices at many of the aforementioned stores, as well as, at the many kiosks which are located all throughout the mall. At any of these locations, you can find the hottest winter accessories ranging from anywhere between $5-20.
