Vote For The First New Jersey Hall Of Fame Inductees

The first nominees for the New Jersey Hall of Fame have been announced, and you can cast your vote online at www.njhalloffame.com between now and February 28. The winners will be announced at a gala induction ceremony in the fall 2007.
Ballots are also available at participating diners, supermarkets and convenience stores across the state. To encourage voting, the Hall of Fame is offering some exciting prizes, including a visit with Joe Torre in the Yankees' dugout and tickets to a game. You may also link to the Web site from a button on the Kean University home page.
While the Hall of Fame will initially be a virtual museum, it is slated to be constructed at the Meadowlands in East Rutherford, N.J., once funding has been raised.
Although supported only by private funds, it is operating under the auspices of the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority and is overseen by a Hall of Fame Advisory Commission, comprised of the former Board of Directors of the Sports Hall of Fame.
