Throughout the year, Kean offers a ton of opportunities to the students. One of the major opportunities is the Travelearn Program. This program allows students to embark on different expeditions around the world while learning academically. These trips are led by faculty members and staff who have done their own related studies in the field. Each trip is filled with enriched cultures, lectures, sight-seeing activities and tours. For each trip, you have the opportunity to gain credits. If you choose to just attend the trip that is fine, but if you wish to take it for credit, it will go towards graduation. This summer, Kean is hosting three different excursions.

Vous sont prêt à apprendre de la culture de beutiful de Paris? Well, this summer you can. From May 15-22, 2007, Kean is hosting a Travelearn to Paris known, as the City of Light. This trip will be led by Linda O'Shea from the Department of Design, and will act as a direct study of French art and culture. One of the sights you will visit is the Notre Dame Cathedral. As you enter the Cathedral, take time to admire the beautiful stained-glass windows with its impeccable designs known as the Rose. The Cathedral tells the story of the Bible in portals, paintings and stained-glass. Next, hold your breath as you visit the style of Louis XIV at the Versailles. The garden at the Versailles is known to be the most prestigious monument in the world. You will then visit Montmartre which was once the home of many artistic explosions, as well as the home of artists such as Picasso, Van Gogh, Berlioz and Renoir. Keep in mind, this is just a taste of what you will experience in Paris. The total price of the trip is $2,100, and it includes round-trip airfare, six overnight stays in hotels with private bathrooms, complete European breakfast daily, two dinners, a full-time bilingual tour director, tours led by licensed local guides, walking tours, and visits to special attractions. For addition information on this expedition, you may contact Professor O'Shea at 908-737-4434 or at
