No matter how many times you've been there, the Jersey Shore always promises a good time. The boardwalk and beaches are a great way to spend a relaxing weekend. As a matter of fact, New Jersey has some of the nicest beaches on the east coast. So make sure to spend some time enjoying the amusement piers at the Jersey Shore.
Are you tired of riding the same roller coasters every year at the boardwalk? If so, you may want to take a trip to Jackson. There you will find Six Flags Great Adventure. According to ultimaterollarcoaster.com, it is the largest theme park, water park, and drive-thru wild animal safari in the country!
Located in Camden is the New Jersey State Aquarium. It is along the Delaware River waterfront overlooking the Philadelphia skyline. Here, visitors can find several species of sharks, hippos, and birds from all around the world.
Cape May is a beautiful town located in Southern Jersey. It attracts many tourists each year, especially during the summer. Enjoy the Victorian homes and the beaches as well as the other attractions found on the island of Cape May. The Cape May Lighthouse and Cape May Bird Observatory are just two of the several main attractions this quaint town has to offer.
Another great place to vacation in the Garden State is Wildwood. The boardwalks, restaurants, and amusement parks attract families every summer. As a matter of fact, there are year round festivals and celebrations.. Fishing and other water sports are also very popular activities among the vacationers in Wildwood.
By bike or foot, you can find a lot to do this summer at the Barnegat Lighthouse in Long Beach Island. There are many charming bed and breakfasts in L.B.I. This is the home to many unique communities, which have its' own qualities and attractions.
Remember, this summer you don't need to travel far for the opportunity to go on vacation. Sometimes there's just no place like home and this is especially true if you live in New Jersey.
