Open your ears and your wallets, because there are some amazing performers coming to Jersey during the months of July and August. There's nothing like seeing your favorite band or musician live! Take advantage of the beautiful weather and come out to see some of the most talented performers around.

The Live Earth concert, revealed by former Vice President Al Gore, is a series of seven concerts being held in honor of our earth to spread awareness of global warming. It will feature artists such as the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Snoop Dogg, The Black Eyed Peas, and many more. Beginning July 7th, more than one hundred artists will travel across to the United States, China, United Kingdom, Brazil, Antarctica, South Africa, Japan, and Australia. On the first day of the tour, the Live Earth Concert will be held in East Rutherford at Giant's Stadium.

The annual Van's Warped Tour will be at Raceway Park in Englishtown. There are many bands that will be playing this tour. One of them is Hawthorne Heights, whose hit songs include "Saying Sorry" and "Ohio is for Lovers". Other bands include Coheed and Cambria, Bad Religion, and many more depending on the date. The Van's Warped Tour will be in New Jersey on August 5th.

Also on August 5th, The Police will be at Giant's Stadium in East Rutherford. They will also be playing at the Live Earth concert, but if you are unable to see them there, not to worry! They will be playing their Reunion Tour at the very same location. This year marks thirty years since the beginning of their career in 1977.

The Family Values Tour will be at PNC Bank Arts Center in Holmdel. This tour features performances by rock bands such as Korn and Evanescence. PNC is a perfect venue for a concert this large, as there are plenty of seats available on the lawn. Not only are they inexpensive, but there's nothing like being outdoors and being able to enjoy a concert at the same time.

These are just a few of the bands that will be coming to Jersey this summer. There are many others that will be in the New York area for those willing to travel.
