Here's how it works; each week various performances will be broadcasted on Youtube, so you can critique and decide who you think is idol-worthy. Once you have decided, all that is left to do is cast your vote. You can vote for your favorite performer via email or a drop box located in various locations throughout the campus.
The first round of auditions will be on October 2nd at 1:00 p.m. in the TV studio Hutchinson room 232. Your audition can be as short as 30 seconds; it's solely up to you. You've seen the posters, the flyers, and students in black t-shirts screaming to you about it. So try out!
Professional singers aren't necessary; if you think you've got what it takes to become the very first Kean Idol make sure you're at auditions October 2nd ."Kean Idol" is produced by Professor Larry Tung along with a class full of Media and Film majors and minors. If you'd like to sign-up for an audition please email Larry Tung at ltung@kean.edu or stop by the Media and Film Department located on the fourth floor in the Center for Academic Success building.
