HOW WELL DO YOU KNOW KEANWISE?

To get a better understanding of our University, it is always good to know about the programs and services instituted to assist the community. One of the Cougar's Byte members knocked on KeanWISE office door to ask some questions, and KeanWISE answered questions people would want to know, and there was a lot to be said.
To give you just a little backgroung, KeanWISE opens at 7:00 a.m. and closes at 11:30 pm. Some people may have questions such as what is KeanWISE? For starters KeanWISE is not the name of a person, or a book, but it is a clever web system equipped to help perspective students, current students, faculty/staff, and provides other services as well. These questions may help you to understand KeanWise a little better.
Why the name KeanWISE?
My name is KeanWISE and I represent Kean University. I am a website providing information for Kean students. I am formatted to get the job done as quickly as possible along with giving you the information you may need. W.I.S.E. actually means Website, Information, System, and Express.
What is a prospective student? And how do you help them?
Well, prospective students are individuals soon-to-be attending Kean University. I help all prospective students set-up a user accounts with a password. I also help you register for classes, check application status, or I can tell the students if their documents or/information were received, missing or even waived. You can also check for Admissions Information. I provide you with status information as far as tuition, financial aid, and making payments.
Kean Wise current students want to know how do you help them?
There is a major distinction between prospective and current students. I provide current students with all of the following: Financial information to include tuition, fees, and needing to be paid. A student can use me to purchase meal plan which is mandatory for our non commuters. I organized financial aid by the academic year and term. I can give you status on award letters, financial aid forms, direct loans, etc. I have the ability communicate by informing you if there are any missing, received, or waived documents.
