MAKE THE SWITCH TO 90.3 FM
Kean Radio hits the airwaves

For all those who like to listen to the radio while getting ready for class or you're on your way to or from work, Kean has just the station for you! WKNJ-FM 90.3 is the official radio station of Kean University. Kean Radio is located on the forth floor of the Center for Academic Success (CAS) and has a plethora of shows for your listening pleasure. No matter what genre you're into, there's something for everybody.
Tune in on Monday from 6pm-8pm, to "The Underground Rap Show" hosted by Anthony Chin. But make sure you stay tuned because shortly after Anthony, is The Cougar's Byte own Angela Barrett or as most know her, Angie B., with her self-titled show. On Tuesday, from 4pm-6pm check out "Ireland: Then and Now"-hosted by Kean Professor's Ed Callaghan and Fred Marder. During the 6pm-8pm slot, wild out with Andy Luca, Toby Weissman, and Kate Iliatcheza on "Getting Wild on the Air".
Kean's radio station also the home of the "Jay-Nyce Show" hosted by Jason Kyeremateng and Phillip West (P. West). Unfortunately, Jason passed away a year ago last year, however, he left a great legacy at the station. Phillip West, senior Media and Film major said "Working with Jay was like having a brother that thought just like me. He brought a lot to the table, his comedy, his perspective, and his personality. We talked about everything from relationships to serious issues affecting Kean students. We talked about real life issues, things that students go through and we talked about it on the air. We were a great team." Thanks to shows like Jason and Phil's, 90.3 has gained more exposure and earned the respect of Kean students.
Kean Radio has a lot of new and innovative shows coming your way this semester. So get with the program and make the switch to 90.3!
