Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk

Kean University is joining the American Cancer Society's fight against breast cancer. The American Cancer Society is the nation's largest non-governmental supported of breast cancer research. It reaches thousands of women nationwide each year with lifesaving messages of prevention and early detection. Additionally, they offer services to ensure that cancer patients and their loved ones do not have to face cancer alone, provides free mammograms and follow-up care for women without health insurance, and much more.

On Sunday, October 21, Kean University will be taking part in the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Awareness Walk at Military Park, Newark, NJ. Transportation is available for Kean University students and faculty/staff on limited basis. The buses will leave from Wilkins Theater at 8:30a.m.

All proceeds raised will be donated to the American Cancer Society.
