Moreover, many students are always searching for more ways to get involved both in the community and on campus. On Sept. 30, the Center For Leadership and Service (CLS) is having its first Cougars That Care Day of Service of the semester.

The annual Greek Senate Conference took place on Friday, Sept. 15 at the STEM auditorium and the Miron Student Center. Members of Greek organizations attended this event to learn how to be better Greeks not just for themselves but also for their fellow and future Greek members.

On Wednesday, September 13, students attended Meet the Greeks in the Harwood Arena. From 5 p.m. to 10 p.m., students were given the opportunity to meet the many different fraternities and sororities here at Kean University. The event was free to any student enrolled at Kean while guests were charged a $5 admission fee. All proceeds go to benefit Kean Dance Marathon (KDM) and the Children’s Specialized Hospital in Mountainside, NJ.
