Angela M. Barrett is a second year student at Kean University currently majoring in Broadcast Journalism. At the age of 17, she graduated from Columbia High School in 2004. She wrote for her high school’s paper and also worked with the Television Studio where she was a morning news anchor and later became the Friday weekend “Weather Girl”. During her first year at Kean she became a member of Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. in the Spring of 2005. She serves as her chapter’s Greek Senate Representative and loves every minute of it. Aside from The Cougar’s Byte she also works at an Assisted Living as a receptionist. If Angela is not working, in class, or studying you can catch her in a mall or taking a cat nap in her dorm room at Rogers Hall. A quote that Angela lives by is “Smiling not only warms the heart but it also lifts the spirit.” So if you see Angela around campus and you give her a smile expect one back.
