Queens, N.Y. (9/13/08) - Kean University improved to a perfect 2-0 as they defeated host New York City College of Technology, 9-0, Saturday afternoon at York College. Sophomores Lisette LaForge (Roselle Park, N.J.) and Katherine Arauz (Newark, N.J.) were perfect in first and second singles (6-0, 6-0) while remaining perfect as they paired for first doubles (8-0). Senior Kim Kimpton (Galloway, N.J.) (pictured right) and sophomore Willmaria Miranda (Newark, N.J.) paired for second doubles for the first time and were victorious, 8-0.

The Cougars returned to action on Wednesday, September 17, 2008, when they traveled to take on Brooklyn College at 4 p.m.
