Pitman, N.J. (10/5/09) - Freshman Michael Custidiano (Hawthorne, N.J.) has been selected as the NJAC Rookie of the Week as announced by the conference office on Monday.Custidiano becomes the second different Cougar to earn NJAC Rookie of the Week honors after posting four points in a 1-1 week of conference play for Kean. After not scoring in a 2-0 NJAC road loss at Montclair State, he notched a pair of goals, including the game-winner, in Kean's 2-1 NJAC overtime road win at William Paterson. After scoring the game-tying goal to send the match into overtime, he netted the game-winner early in the second overtime period for the Cougars first conference victory of the season.

Custidiano currently ranks tied for sixth in the NJAC in game-winning goals with two on the season.
