Towson, Md. (2/27/10) - The Kean University men's lacrosse team fell to #2 Stevenson University, 24-4, Saturday evening in action held at Towson University. The Cougars (1-1) held in during the first quarter as senior Scott Leathem (Fair Lawn, N.J.) took a pass from senior C.J. Gannon (Morris Plains, N.J.) to pull KU within one, 2-1, with just under two minutes to go. But the Mustangs used the second quarter to surge ahead, scoring eight goals in the frame to take a 10-3 lead going into intermission.

Kean would score one more goal in the second half of action as Gannon netted an unassisted goal.

Gannon --finished with a goal and two assists.
