Student groups come, and student groups go – often this is dictated by student interest, new leadership, and available resources needed to keep the group's operations functioning. The success or failures are usually not indicative of the group's potential, but rather contingent on the formula of many elements.

Demonstrating their famed strength in new member inclusion, a characteristic that earned the group "Membership of the Year" award, first-time performers will also showcase their choreographed pieces. Among these members is Keely

 

The need to demonstrate new dance for Kean audiences is stacked on the need to restructure the identity of the group. "So much of our new work incorporates African dance themes, which is new for us," remarks President Brandon.
