On Wednesday, April 4, 2012, Career Development Advancement hosted the Career Fair in the Center for Academic Success. On the first, second and third floors, employees from various companies were seated at tables with information for prospective employees. A number of students showed up to the career fair dressed professionally and with both business cards and resumes ready to give to companies in hopes of finding a job or internship.

Both undergraduate and graduate student as well as alumnus attended the career fair as well. Most of the students were interested in volunteer work, internships, part-time positions or full-time positions within a company. Joseph Herbert, a graduate student in the public administration program with a concentration in environmental management. Herbert gave out resumes to several companies and stated "one should always seek opportunities even when they are employed."

Students were very pleased that Career Development Advanced held the Career Fair before the school year ended, before graduation and the summer. It gives students enough time to find a summer job or internship. Ana Claro
