Student Identification cars are given to all Kean students to show that they are a part of the university community. Students who do not have their personal ID please stop by the third floor of the Administration Building. There is no charge for the first card issued.  However, if by any chance the card is lost, stolen or damaged students must pay a $15 replacement fee.

Student ID cards are recommended to be carried with their owners at all times. The IDs are used for multiple activities such as meals, gym entrance, library, computer labs, and to purchase tickets for university events and theater shows. Resident students must use their IDs to gain entry into the residence halls. All students must acquire and show their ID card when asked by a university official. To receive your Cougar ID you must show a valid photo ID.
