The Office of Residential Student Services

Delivering the overall college experience

The Office of Residential Student Services
Stephanie Martinez

The office of residential student services aims to deliver the overall college experience to the students of Kean University. The residence halls are student communities where one can explore new ideas, meet different people, engage in responsible behavior, and experience new found freedom.

Living within the residence halls provides a multicultural opportunity for students. Students gain a variety of personal learning experiences to supplement and enhance their academic development.

The residential community consists of eight residence halls that house 2,000 students in living arrangements that include tradition and apartment style suites. Students have various options in which to entertain themselves such as the game room & screening room, a 24-hour computer lab located in Dougall Hall, and an all-you-care to eat dining hall located on the first floor of the Upperclassman Residence Hall.

Full-time students are encouraged to apply for housing by submitting a housing contract and a non-refundable $100.00 housing application processing fee. For more information please contact the office of residential services at 908-737-6800, email the office at Reslife@kean.edu, or feel free to stop by the office in Whiteman Hall.
