During the enchanted time of fall pumpkins are scattered from house to house. Painted pumpkins, carved pumpkins, and even pumpkins decorated in costumes are displayed within the windows and on the porches of every neighborhood. Pumpkins represent the fall harvest but also the magical holiday of Halloween!

On Saturday, October 26, 2013 Liberty Hall held their annual Pumpkin Patch Day. The event offered pumpkin picking, hayridesMichealSymanskiSymanski

Children were smiling and laughing all through the Liberty Hall grounds. Everyone was thrilled to be there, as well as the parents. Ceicilia Canty a resident of Elizabeth, New Jersey stated, "I became a member of Liberty Hall two months ago and it has been a fun time. My family and I are from South Carolina, so having something like Liberty Hall is great for the community."

Under the white tent next to the Liberty Hall, carriage house arts and crafts were offered to all. These activities included Halloween crafts such as magnets, bracelets, necklaces, and book marks. The guests were thrilled to participate in these hands on creations.  Lacey Bongard, coordinator of museum programs at Liberty Hall commented, "This is one of the biggest events of the year. It is exciting to see everyone. This is a tradition for Liberty Hall. It is fun to see it grow every time this time of year comes around."
