On Thursday, November 14, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in Downs Hall, the office of student government and Gourmet Dining will be holding its annual all-one-can-eat Food Bank Luncheon for the Community Foodbankwww.cfbnj.org, the food bank's mission is one that helps to, "fill the emptiness caused by hunger with food, help, and hope." They honor everyone who donates, appreciating even the smallest of food donations, every little bit helps.

The luncheon will serve a Thanksgiving themed buffet complete with food, drinks, and desserts. This event will help raise awareness and funds for individuals in neighboring communities. Campus caterer, Gourmet Dining will kindly be donating all of the food and representatives from the New Jersey Food Bank will also be helping to serve guests and promote hunger awareness.

Tickets are $5 for students and $10 for faculty, staff, and alumni. All tickets can be purchased at the Wilkins Theatre Box Office or at the door on the day of the event. It is asked that all who attend please bring a nonperishable food item for a donation and entry for a chance to win a door prize. The more items that are donated, the more raffle tickets will be given.  Door prizes and drawings will be held throughout the event in addition to the bountiful feast with friends.
