The way harmony and melody collide, working in unison, attracts many people. The sounds find a way to slither into someone's emotions, giving birth to distinct types of affection for music. While some have their personal favorite genres, one cannot deny the power of music, overall.

On a brisk Thursday afternoon, November 5, 2013, Kean University's Gospel Choir hosted Autumn with the Ensemble, which showcased their flair as a musical body near the University Center (UCDunmore

Throughout their performance many stopped to listen to the intense yet comforting sound of the choir's harmonic voice. "It was mesmerizing," explained Anthony WorightShantelShantel

The members of the choir were ecstatic about their outcome of their short yet successful event. "We created this event to say 'Kean Gospel is back!'" stated Gerard SmithwrickDunmore

The Kean Gospel Choir wanted to display their talents while expressing their open arms, inviting all those who wish to be a part of the group. "Everyone can be a part of the gospel choir; whether you can sing or not... in the end, we are a family!" said Salaam Thomas, junior political science major and member of the Kean Gospel Choir.
