Liberty Hall holds Toys for Tots drive

With the holiday season just around the corner, many will get caught up in the joy that comes with the holiday spirit. In the rush to find presents and make plans, it is sometimes easy to forget that there are underprivileged children that need society's help to enjoy the holidays.

Toys for Tots is an organization that is dedicated to helping children in need during the Christmas season. Supported by the United States Marine Corps Reserve, Toys for Tots makes it their mission to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November, and December each year. The toys are distributed as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community, in which the campaign is conducted.

Kean University is doing their part as Liberty Hall will be collecting gently used or unwrapped toys for children ages one to 17 for the nonprofit public charity, Toys for Tots. The collection will be from Wednesday, November 20, 2013 to Monday, December 16, 2013. They will have a box in the blue house (visitor's center) at Liberty Hall as well as a box in the lobby of the University Center (UC
