L.E.A.D (Leadership Education and Development) is a program that develops Kean University's potential and current leaders through workshop lectures, discussions, games, and activities. The L.E.A.D program, which is offered by the center of leadership and service (CLS

Priority applications will be due by Wednesday, February 12, 2014 and, if there are any positions left, supplementary applications will be granted for late admission until Wednesday, February 19, 2014. Dinner workshops will begin Wednesday February 26, 2014 from 5:30 until 8:00 pm. Dinner will be provided before each workshop to provide members an opportunity to network. Once the workshop starts, members will participate in a range of topics and activities that will vary each week. Workshops will deal with topics such as; "What is Emotional Intelligence?", "Do You Think You Can Serve?", "Emotional Literacy" and more. Along with the seven week workshops, L.E.A.D members will not only participate in community service but will be planning, proposing, and implementing a community service project as well.

All Kean students with at least 12 acquired credits are encouraged to apply. Graduate students interested in L.E.A.D are encouraged to apply as well. Prior formal leadership experience is not required; applicants need only a desire to bring a positive change to their organizations and community.
