During the summer of 2013, Kean University in Union, New Jersey, hosted a group of Chinese students from satellite campus, Kean Wenzhou

The English Immersion Program is an interactive way for the students from Wenzhou

To become fully immersed, the learning continues outside the classroom. From Saturday, June 28, 2014 to Saturday, August 16, 2014 students will also be taken on various field trips on the weekends. The Chinese students will be able to visit the capital, Washington D.C for two days and gain knowledge on the country's history while exploring different aspects of the city. There will also be a two-day trip to Boston that promises to give students a true New England experience. And with such a close proximity to New York City, students will be given the opportunity to have dinner, see a show on Broadway, and cheer on the Yankees at Yankee Stadium. By learning outside of the classroom, students receive the full experience that will enlighten their minds, ignite creativity, and develop more well-rounded individuals.
