In today's world, some women of color have voiced that they tend to feel ostracized at times. Some believe society is predominantly controlled by Caucasian men and there are moments where women, who are of other descents, can sometimes feel powerless. Starting this organization alone has already empowered its members more than they could have imagined. Lewis and HailstorkIngramseniorBRS

Because it is a new organization on campus, it has been difficult for the club to become involved in the community to the extent that they had initially intended. However, they have already begun collaborating with some other organizations on campus for certain events and hosting events on a small scale. As the group gains momentum, they plan on hosting major events independently, but that cannot be done without the involvement and help of other students.
