Commuting to school getting to be a hassle and spending excessive amounts of money on gas or transportation? No need to worry any longer because Kean University has teamed up with New Jersey Transit to offer full-time undergraduate and graduate students a discount. Students save 25 percent off the regular monthly pass for rail, bus, or light rail when they enroll online with New Jersey Transit’s Quik-Tik program.

Kristina Cibikova, a sophomore history major at Kean University, uses Quik-Tik every time she commutes to school. Cibikova feels that, “Quik-Tik is really helpful not just because of discounts but because you don’t have to think about getting your monthly pass for the bus/train.”

Signing up for Quik-Tik is easy. First, login through KeanWISE and then click on “discount ticket for full time students.” Please note that the price shown, once signed up, is already discounted with the 25 percent. Be sure to create a Quik-Tik user name and password.

Enrollment is still being accepted for the October monthly pass. After enrolled in Quik-Tik, a monthly pass will be sent by mail each month.

Monthly passes should only be purchased from the Quik-Tik program for traveling to and from school only. Any abuse of the pass will result in cancellation.
