With summer well on its way it is now time to think of what the fall semester will bring. One of the most popular programs at any college is the study abroad program, and currently Kean University is accepting applications for students who would like to study abroad at Wenzhou-Kean University located in Wenzhou, China for the fall semester of 2015.

Studying aboard is a once-in-a-lifetime learning experience, and Kean University can help make this opportunity available to many students. Unlike many schools in the United States, Kean University has a campus in another country, which allows students to easily take classes at the sister campus.

In order for students to be considered for this great experience, one must:

  • Have a minimum grade point average (GPA) of 3.0
  • Be a sophomore at the start of the 2015 fall semester
  • Must currently live on campus in order to have all expenses covered by Kean University. If a student does not live on campus, no need to worry for they will simply need to add the campus room and board fee to the total cost.
  • For any students who are qualified for financial aid this fall semester they can use the funds given to study abroad.
  • Students who are interested in studying abroad in China must submit the application by Monday, June 15, 2015.

For more information about fees, required paperwork, and the application, please clickhere or call the center for internationals studies (CIS) by email atcis@kean.edu, by phone at 908-737-0350, or by office visit between the days of Monday and Friday and the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. in the Center for Academic Success (CAS) room 121.
