Experience a bus trip to Broadway, hosted by the Student Organization, to find out how far Matilda’s imagination really can grow.

On Sunday, October 4, 2015, the Student Organization will be hosting a bus trip to Broadway to see the playMatilda. The bus will depart from Wilkins Theatre at 11 a.m. The play will start at 12 p.m. and finish around 1 p.m.

The playMatilda follows Matilda Wormwood, a young girl who immerses herself in books. Matilda is forgotten and belittled by her parents. When she started school she was tortured by her principal Miss Trunchbull but saved by her teacher Miss Honey. Miss Honey helped Matilda live out her dreams and make a better life for herself.

Tickets are currently on sale at the Wilkins Theatre box office. Tickets are $15 per ticket. Purchases are only valid with a Kean University ID, limit two tickets per ID.

Before buying tickets be sure to print and complete the Student Activity Participant Agreement (SAPA) form, which can be found on Cougar Link, and bring it to the box office. A SAPA form must also be completed for a guest attending the trip as well.

Matilda is playing at the Shubert Theatre in New York City (NYC). The Shubert theatre is located at 225 W 44th street, New York, 10036.
