It’s the beginning of the semester and with little to no assignments to be taken care of many students may wonder what to do during their free time. No worries, because beginning Friday, January 22, 2016, the Kean Theatre Council (KTC) is going back to the 90’s with their upcoming adaptation of the Second Stage musical, Dogfight.

The musical is based off the movie with the same name. It is set in 1963 and follows 18 year old Eddie and his friends the night before they are all taken to Vietnam for the Vietnam War. Their night is filled with playing a game called ‘Dogfight,’ where they have to seek an unattractive woman and the one with the most unattractive woman wins a prize. Eddie finds a woman by the name of Rose working in a coffee shop and agrees to accompany him to the game only to realize what the game really is about. At this point, Eddie begins to grow feelings for Rose and tries to win her hear back.

This is a free show and because of its location, there is a limited amount of seats. On that note, it is a first-come-first-serve basis, so get there early. There are three dates in which this show is being presented, they are: Friday, January 22, 2016, at 7 p.m., Saturday, January 23, 2016, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, January 24, 2016, at 3 p.m.
