Kean University, for another year, is having international students come to the Union campus and be a part of the English Immersion Program. The English Immersion Program, which began in 2013, is a six week program that allows international students to study at Kean University during the summer time.

The program is to help students learn the English language through field trips, classes and more while also allowing them to learn about the American Culture. And to help the international students have a great experience while here, the English Immersion Program is looking for English Immersion Mentors, otherwise known as EIMs.

EIMs are Kean University students that help the international students during the immersion program. EIMs are there to help the international students by guiding, mentoring and tutoring them daily.

Although the program begins on Sunday, July 3, 2016, EIMs will begin working on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 and the program will end on Tuesday, August 16, 2016 while EIMs will finish working on Thursday, August 18, 2016. EIMs are expected to be available seven days a week to engage with the students in and out of the classrooms.
