Liberty Hall Museum hosts a historical tour of its past

Get ready for tea and snacks served with a side of history. On Sunday, June 12, 2016, Liberty Hall Museum will host Afternoon Tea in the Gardens from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Tickets for the event are $40 each, and reservations are required by June 8. Liberty Hall Museum is located on 1003 Morris Avenue in Union, NJ.

Afternoon Tea in the Gardens is open to anyone from history buffs to novices to those who just enjoy a good cup of tea. Tea and snacks, including finger sandwiches and assorted pastries, will be served outdoors in the scenic gardens of Liberty Hall. During the outside tea service guests will be treated to an overview on the history of the garden as well as tips on gardening and caring for roses.

Immediately following the outside tea service, guests will be taken on a tour of Liberty Hall Museum.  The tour includes the Toys Through Time: The History of American Fun exhibit which is a joy for guests of all ages.
