Catch Up On Credits During Winter Break

Winter Registration

The Cougars Byte

Sara Ridgway

Winter classes are a great way to utilize the break in between semesters and earn some valuable extra credits in a short period of time.

Winter session runs from Wednesday, December 28, 2016, through Friday, January 13, 2017.

There are two types of classes offered during the winter session: online and in-class traditional instruction methods.

Whether needed as a major requirement, a general education requirement or just a free elective, students can take online history courses this winter.

The online courses offered during winter session include:

HIST*1062 Worlds of History

HIST*2304 U.S. History 1977-present

HIST*3326 History of New Jersey

HIST*4111 The Roman Empire

All of these classes are worth 3 credits.

If in-class instruction is a student's preferred style of teaching, there are a variety of subjects offered. Traditional classes meet everyday during the two-week winter session, with classes ranging from an hour and fifteen minutes up to four hours a day depending on the course and number of credits it is worth.
