What happens when one mixes history with happy hour? Two nights of fun at Kean University’s historic Liberty Hall Museum (LHM)!

Guests can partake in all the festivities by coming down to LHM on Thursday, October 27, 2016, and Thursday, November 17, 2016, as the museum hosts History Happy Hour from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Tickets for each event are $25 per person and $20 for LHM members or Kean University alumni.

Guests must be 21 years or older to attend.

Reservations are required by Thursday, October 20, 2016, for the October event, and Thursday, November 10, 2016, for the November event. To reserve a ticket for either event, call (908) 527-0400 or email libertyhall@kean.edu. Tickets can also be purchased by visiting the LHM website.

On Thursday, October 27, 2016, guests will enjoy drinks while learning of ghoulish experiences encountered by staff members of the museum, which dates back to 1772. After sharing the museum’s history of ghostly encounters, the staff will engage guests in a game of Halloween trivia.

On Thursday, November 17, 2016, guests will learn museum secrets from years past as staff members share stories that date back over 240 years. Guests will also be treated to snacks and beverages as the family friendly tales are being told.

Each History Happy Hour event will offer guests the opportunity to socialize with friends and make some new ones too. Tickets for each event are now available, so reserve a ticket and come enjoy refreshing drinks with a side of fright!

LHM is located at 1003 Morris Avenue in Union, NJ.
