Although the semester started a few weeks ago, it is already time to think about next semester and registering for courses. As of now, students can now plan their schedule accordingly as classes for the winter and spring semesters of 2017 are already on KeanWISE.
Before registering for classes one must make sure that he or she does not have any holds on his or her accounts. (All students have an advisement hold and must get that hold uplifted by an adviser.)
To check for any holds follow the instructions below:
1. Login to KeanWISE using Kean University email username and password.
2. On the left hand side look for the link "Student restrictions" under the section "Academic Profile."
3. There students can find any account holds and information on what each hold stands for.
To register for classes, follow the instructions below:
1. Login to KeanWISE using Kean University email username and password.
2. On the left hand side of the page there will be a section titled "Registration."
3. First, one must complete the financial obligation agreement before registering for classes. Click on the link that says "Financial Obligation Agreement."
4. The one can click on "Register for Sections" link to register for classes.
5. Fill out the term desired (Spring of 2017 or Winter of 2017) and other required fields and hit "submit."
6.Click on the desired class and hit "submit" at the bottom of the page. Complete the registration process by clicking "Register" in the drop down box on the left hand side.
Below are the registration dates. Depending on credits (last name for freshmen) is when students can register. Those who have a 3.85 grade point average (GPA) --otherwise known as a scholar student -- athletes, students with a disability and incoming transfer students will be able to register on Tuesday, November 1, 2016.
Anyone registering on or after Thursday, December 15, 2016, will be charged a late registration fee of $105. Anyone registering on or after the first day of winter or spring semester will be charged a $210 late fee.
