Ever wonder what Kean looks like after hours? Now you have your opportunity as Student Organization of Kean University is hosting Kean After Dark, an event to get students socializing while having a fun time on campus.

This will provide students with the perfect opportunity for students to get to know each other on a deeper level while also getting them engaged on campus. It will transpire Feb. 6 from 9 p.m. to midnight in The Cougar's Den, which is located in the Miron Student Center (MSC).

Kean After Dark is an event that the Student Organization of Kean University holds periodically throughout the semester. The first installment of Kean After Dark will be a Valentine's Day edition so that students can spread the love among each other! Students can expect fun games and music to keep the attendees energized. Additionally, there will be free food and even giveaways, making this an event one won't want to miss!

The first activity at the event will be bingo with a Valentine's Day theme. Participants will have to socialize and ask their peers questions in order to complete the game. This will be a good icebreaker to get the attendees excited for the rest of the night. It will also encourage students to mingle and create bonds with each other.

Following bingo will be a romance discussion and questionnaire. This will allow students to voice their views on different topics that relate to Valentine's Day. It will create an open discussion between the attendees allowing students to have their voices heard on an array of topics.

Tatyana Rafael Calderon, assistant programming coordinator for P.U.L.S.E. and committee member of the Office of Student Government, said, "I think everyone should come to this event because to me it is very important to be engaged outside of the classroom, so you're not only going to class and coming back to your room. You also have an opportunity to grow, develop, network and do other activities other than just [going to the] classroom and going back to either work or home."

The Student Organization of Kean University is an organization that inspires students to bolster their experience at Kean by providing them with many events to get them involved on campus. The Valentine's Day edition of Kean After Dark will do just that for students who attend!
