Every year, Kean University does its absolute best to raise money for Breast Cancer Awareness month. During the month of October, student groups and the Kean community have come together to create events and activities to get students and faculty to reach a goal of $5,000. As the month comes to an end, the Kean community can look back and see the many things they did to raise awareness and money to be donated to the American Cancer Society.
Good Day Cougars! Today, join in on KDM Hype Day and help fundraise and write inspirational notes to kids. And on this Wednesday, help Mu Sigma Upsilon, Sorority Inc. raise money to support Puerto Rico recover!
Premiere Stages, Kean University's professional theater company, will be accepting unproduced script submissions from Friday, Oct. 15 through Friday, Dec. 15 for its 14th annual Premiere Play Festival.

On Monday, Oct. 2, 2017 at 12:30 p.m., the Center for Leadership and Service (CLS) will be hosting its breast cancer kick off. For its kick off, CLS will be fundraising money for breast cancer at its table in the Miron Student Center (MSC) Atrium. Students, faculty and staff can join the Kean University team and purchase "Kean Blue Thinks Pink" t-shirts and hoodies throughout the month of October. T-shirts will be sold for $10 while hoodies will be sold for $25. All the proceeds will go to the American Cancer Society.

Kean students, faculty and alumni filled the Harwood Arena parking lots to full capacity during the homecoming tailgate Saturday, Oct. 7. Music from the acclaimed DJ Nix in The Mix, food and an abundance of fun was all available to the many people who attended the homecoming festival.

The Students of Kean University kicked off their Homecoming week with a Barbecue and Bid day for their greek life students.

Throughout this week, there will be a Blood Drive from 12:00pm-4:00pm to support this year's Hurricane victims. And on Sunday, October 22 from 8:00am-12:30pm for The American Society's Breast Cancer Walk in Piscataway, NJ! So please join Kean University in our culminating event after a month of fundraising for Breast Cancer Awareness, and make sure you sign up through Cougarlink, Cougars!!!
Today kicks off Breast Cancer Awareness Month at Kean University. So join us at the Miron Student Center Atrium between 12:30pm to 4:30pm to show your support. And don’t forget about Kean University’s upcoming events this week from Thursday to Sunday. So remember – bring your Cougar Spirit!!!
Earth Science Club (ESC) took a medicinal plant walk at Norvin Green State Forest on Sept. 30, 2017 to learn about medicinal uses from some of New Jersey's wild plants. Students also created healing salves alongside Paul Tappenden, wild food diarist and forger, and Joy Buckhout, clinical herbalist and health consultant. Thank you, ESC for sharing this video with us.
