The Little Mermaid is a story that is known by many. The story tells the tale of a young mermaid who searches for love above the sea. As she rises up to the surface, a ship comes into view with a handsome prince aboard. The young mermaid falls in love with him from a distance. As a fiery storm hits the seas, the young prince becomes unconscious and the mermaid rushes to save him. As she saves him, a whirlwind of emotions start and an adventure begins that makes this fairy tale a classic.

Many reactions happen to the body as laughter takes place. Fifteen different muscles in one's face participate when laughing. Laughter is said to be the best medicine. Laughter contains a strong antidote that helps release stress and boost immune systems. The Kean University community will have a chance to help spread a little laughter around campus.

The Alcohol, Tobacco, and Other Drugs Task Force [AToD] was created to serve functions to prevent substance abuse at Kean University.

When thinking of a team, one thinks of a kinship. A team is a group that holds a bond much like a family. Together, this kinship accomplishes and overcomes obstacles more than the eye can see. It is held together by love, trust, and cooperation. If one may fall, so do the others; much like a domino effect. It takes a whole team to pick up the pieces and put them back into place.

The Student Organization of Kean University is the epicenter for student life. It improves the academic, cultural, and personal growth of the students it represents by acting as the influence to the full-time, undergraduate student body. The organization dedicates its time preserving an environment where diversity and expression embellishes scholarly opinion, debate, and education. The student organization would not be what it is today without the members it holds.

Educators of Tomorrow is a group of students that promote interest in the field of education. The group fosters teaching professionally in the state of New Jersey, in hopes of one day having a classroom to call their own. The club reaches out to the Kean community and surrounding areas to encourage service. This group of individuals is always eager to make a difference.

New Jersey was one of first thirteen colonies in the United States. The region was settled by Dutch and Swedish colonists in 1620 and 1630. During this time, small trading colonies sprang up. Sir George Carteret and Lord John Berkley divided the land in half. This land was officially named New Jersey after the Isle of Jersey in the English Channel.

Today, Black History Month lets one take pride through culture. Culture identifies the environment that one lives in.
