Kean University has set a milestone as it became the first public university in New Jersey to provide a fully functional mobile application to its students. The application was developed in partnership with Blackboard Inc., a global leader in education technology. It features a full suite of iPhone/iPod touch, Android, BlackBerry, and mobile web applications.
The application allows students to use the campus map, search the Kean directory, view the course listing, view athletics schedules and sports articles, check the hours of operation for offices on campus, view and search campus events calendar, and read The Cougar's Byte.
Kean Mobile is a free application for iPhone/iPod touch, Android, and BlackBerry users. The app can be downloaded for free in the iTunes App store, Android Google Play Store, and in the Blackberry App World. Users with web-enabled mobile that operates in different device platforms may still access Kean mobile by going to http://m.kean.eduin their web browsers.
