Cougar Link powered by collegiatelink is an important aspect for campus life. Students are able to view any upcoming events, sign up for volunteer opportunities, and view any clubs or organizations that are available to students.

Once the semester starts and events begin to pile up on the Cougar Link calendar, students may realize a huge difference on the website. On July 20, 2015, Cougar Link was given a new look which is now  easier then ever to navigate through. 

With the new update, everything works the same way they however they appeal easier to the naked eye.

• Students still sign in the same way by clicking on the ‘Sign In’ tab on the top right hand corner of the website. Students can also sign in by clicking on the ‘Sign In’ button in the middle of the opening page.

• Students are also able to view any upcoming events by scrolling down to view the 'opportunity board'.

But what is new about this update is that students are now able to ask for help while on Cougar Link. To ask for help simply click the ‘Help’ button under the ‘Sign In’ button in the middle of the opening page of Cougar Link. There students can ask questions to receive assistants on the website.

Navigating through the website is still the same as it was prior to the update. To look for upcoming events students will have to click on the ‘Event’ tab; to look for an organization students will have to click on the ‘Organization’ tab; and to see a student’s involvement click on the student’s name for a dropdown box and click on ‘Involvement’.

What has also been added to the website is that now organizations can customize their page. They can customize their banner and use the appropriate picture they please to use. Students can learn how by clicking here. It's a way for organizations to be a little more creative with their page.

The biggest thing about the new Cougar Link update is its adaptable feature to be used a on a smart phone or any mobile device. The pages have been designed to fit the screen, no matter what the size of the screen may be all the words and pictures on the screen will either stretch or shrink to make it easier for the reader.
