The Graduate and Part-time Student Council (GPSC) is inviting all students of Kean University to join them in playing Bingo in the Cougar’s Den on Friday, December 4, 2015, from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

After much consideration, GPSC decided it was time to initiate a social event on campus where students of all different ages and backgrounds could come together over a game that doesn’t involve physical agility. In recent years, bingo was gone out of style on college campuses and they decided it would be the perfect fit. Bingo is not only a classic but a game where everyone can enjoy by playing or just watching people get excited over the calling of the numbers.

This is GPSC’s first event of this kind and they are anticipating a great turnout. They will have a range of mystery prizes ranging from small to big in size. Treasurer Lawrence Owens feels that this kind of event is crucial to the student body.

“We thought it would be [a] great opportunity to put on a bingo event; it’s something different and also something that everyone knows and can enjoy for a nice Friday night,” said Owens.
