Have a drink with friends while sipping, snacking and socializing while learning some fun history facts and hearing about some infamous Hollywood movies and how historical information gets blurred for entertainment.

On Thursday, April 28, 2016, from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m., Liberty Hall Museum will have the historic happy hour about Hollywood history. Guests must be 21 years or older to attend since it will serve liquor.

Liberty Hall Museum is always looking for ways to get the campus involved with what they have to offer. And it will do History Happy Hour the last Thursday of every month because it's a fun way to get people interested in history, such as another event of History Happy Hour: History of Sports hosted on Thursday, March 31, 2016.

During the Hollywood-themed happy hour, participants will discuss how some famous movies are not always historically accurate. For example, the movie Titanic is a famous historical event that gets portrayed in Hollywood multiple times with main characters that did not really sail on the Titanic ship, such as Rose and Jack in the 1997 version.

It is $25 per person, $20 for Liberty Hall Museum members/Kean Alumni. Tickets include drinks, snacks, trivia and time to mingle.

Reservations are required to attend by Friday, April 21, 2016. People can purchase tickets on the phone by calling 908-527-0400 or online by visiting www.kean.edu/libertyhall/events
