The Military and Veterans Club (MVC) will be hosting its annual Veterans Day Memorial in front of the Miron Student Center (MSC) on Friday, November 11, 2016.
From 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., the memorial is to commemorate all veterans, past and present. The ceremony contains multiple events, speeches and placing of wreaths. The ceremony itself should take about 45 minutes, and all individuals are welcome to stay for it.
The MVC serves with the memory of those who have served and are currently serving in the armed forces. They also assist veterans and families of returning veterans within the Kean community. Through volunteering, peer mentoring and peer service, the MVC raises awareness to issues affecting serving and returning veterans.
